Bungee Stretch Trailer Tie

These "bungee" trailer ties are meant to be used inside the trailer.

If a horse is fastened into the trailer with this heavy stretchable trailer tie, he will have some "play", and be able to stretch it twice it's length if he gets into trouble, and still remain tied. The bungee cord will break if stretched 3 times it's length. In our experience, if the bungee tie is stretched to the limit, it will unravel in the center area & break there, not at the snaps. It has a safety release on the tie side and a standard bull snap on the horse side It can be dangerous to reach in & release the safety release while the animal is pulling back at full force, because he may go backwards & hurt himself.But the quick release is there for a reason, every situation is different & you have to use your best judgement when engaging it.
